BEST OF 2010 AWARDS
The last year has brought some amazing transformations in our Edmond Bootcampers. Physically, Mentally, and Emotionally everyone has become better!!! As the last moments of 20010 tick away I would like to recognize some of the standout performances….
And the award goes to…
Best Bootcamp Attitude – Quentin Cheadle, Hannah Goodman, Melissa Peros
We all know how hard these workouts can be but these guys work super hard, push the pace, and have a blast doing it!
Best Bed Head – Female – Tara Warwick
We’re not even sure Tara knows shes at bootcamp but she does a great job anyway!
Best Bed Head – Male – Morris Feigel
Morris wears his hat in but likes to let it fly when the weights start moving!
Best Dance Moves/Low Squat – Brett Marchbanks
Not everyone can break it down to some techno beats AND do some awesome low squats!
Bootcamp Class Clown – Theresa “T-Dog” Evans
The only lady that signs in T-Dog and lets me try to figure out who it is for a week. Thanks for keeping us on our toes!
Mayor of Edmond Bootcamp – Candae Lagere
Candace does such a great job making eveyone feel right at home. Thanls for helping to make Evolution awesome!
Most Improved – Tie – Peggy Lippmin, Pam Teague, Penny Noel
These three ladies have come soooo far in just a short amount of time. Each one of them work super hard, battle through everything and it is paying off! Keep up the great work ladies!!!
Ms Big Things Come In Small Packages – Sarah Lindley
Sarah is a superstar. I feel sorry for her partner at camp and nothing is going to keep her from her goals! Awesome job!
Ms Raise The Bar – Leslie Schuppan
Just when you feel like you work hard enough its people like Leslie that push everyone else to step it up.
Ms. Sassy Bootcamp – Tie – Amy Cooper, Kelley Duncan
Oh how could I choose just one. These two ladies are irreplaceable to me. After all someone has to be there every time to let me know that “Today Sucks!”
Most Consistent Bootcamper – Doug Cook
No one has made it to more bootcamps in a year, a month, or a day (3) than the Infamous Doug Cook! Incredible!!!
Most Inspiring Bootcamper – Angie Oden
To be a part of the most amazingly fit preganancy I have ever seen was awesome. To here guys say “Don’t partner me with the pregnant girl today, shes too much!” PRICELESS!!!
Most Stylish Bootcamper – Randy Wilson
If its cool and Under Armour, just put it back on the rack because Randy already has it. It has been a long time since someone looked this good at bootcamp (other than me)
Most Weight Lost in 1 Month – Lee Ann Stone
For a Female to lose over 10 pounds in a month is unheard of. To lose 12+ is Amazing! Great Job!!!
Ms. Perseverance – Ann Wilson
Ann never ceases to amaze me but Ann wearing a boot on a broken foot and never stopping her workout or slowing down in a whole next level of incredible!!! You Rock!!!
Ms. Smile on the outside, cry on the inside – Julie DeLong
No excuses…Just Results! Julie has mastered the art of dying of exhaustion with a smile on her face! Thanks for working hard every day!
Amazing Transformations of 2010 – Natalie Reed, Leigh Ann Cales, Katie Morgan, Brooke Harris, Jenny Carter, Melissa Wade
It wasn’t long ago that everyone on this list was 20,or30, or even 40 pounds heavier. The great thing about it, this list could have been twice this long!!! But these ladies have made huge strides both in and out of the gym and it doesn’t go without notice! Congrats on what you accomplished in 2010!!!
Most Amazing Transformation – Jenny Smalley
Jenny is an amazing person and her transformation story is even more amazing. Jenny lost right at 60 pounds while her husband Jason was away in Military training. She turned a tremendously hard situation into a fire that changed her life. Congratulations on an amazing journey in 2010 and all the best in 2011!
In all seriousness I would like to recognize 1 guy and 1 gal that really have made Edmond Bootcamp what is is. These guys are infamous among their peers and its just not the same when they are not here. So go ahead and take your victory lap with a kettlebell….
Mr. Bootcamp 2010 – Alan Hoffhines
The unanimous winner in this years voting by trainers and bootcampers! Alan is one of the hardest working, humble, and amazing people I have ever met. The only human to conquer a 100lb pound walking kettlebell swing, it is no big deal to see Alan push himself to the point of laying on the ground in the middle of sets. Alan has come so far in his progress and I am honored to give this award!
Ms. Bootcamp 2010 – Connie Goodwin
Connie is one of a kind. I have someone everyday ask what can I do to get arms like hers or how long has Connie been working out. She is a true inspiration and one of the sweetest people ever. Just watch out for her cookies, it is amazing how good of a cook she is and still manages to stay that lean! It is people like Connie that keep us doing what we are doing. She is a huge part of the family and it just wouldn’t be the same without her!
It is absolutely amazing what can happen in a year. Last year we workouts in the park and then with indoor in the little gym with no equipment. This year we expanded the gym to 11,000 square feet and have the most people ever seeing tremendous change! 2011 is going to be record breaking. This year we will see people lose over 100 pounds, people WIN marathons and races, and a whole new group of Team Evolution sports. 2011 is going to be awesome!!!
Happy New Year and See you at Boot Camp
