Making Fitness A Priority

I’m going to be real honest with you guys in this post. This is one of those, pick yourself up, wipe the tears from your eyes and make a difference in your life articles that have made me and Evolution Personal Training famous.

You see there is a plague in the air and you have a possibility of being infected. This plague causes you to wake up and 20 years have gone by and you have lost everything you have worked hard for.

Luckily for you Ryan “Mr Accountability” Dobbs is here to rescue you!

Let me tell you a story. John walk in to the gym, eyes shrink wrapped in tears although he is too proud to let on go. He tells me he just went to the doctor and he is officially a ticking time bomb. He is type 2 diabetic, and he is a french fry away from a heart attack. He used to work out 30 years ago but then got busy with life. “I just couldn’t find the time!” he announces! Now Doc says I need to lose 50 pounds asap or I could die soon!!!”

This happens about once a week. Seriously!

Let me break it down for you… Finish Reading

Client Of The Month November

Congrats Jenny S. on being November’s Client of the Month!!!

56 lbs LOST in ONLY 6 months!

For all of you out there who are looking for a real inspiration story, Look No Further! Jenny is one of the most amazing people I know and is a huge part of the family at Edmond Bootcamp. Jenny is in it to win it and it shows! Jenny is Mrs. Bootcamp with a smile everyday!!!

The most exciting thing about Jenny’s story is that she has done all this while her husband has been away training with the MIlitary. His training only allows limited contact and as you can imagine has been very hard on Jenny. He has been gone for 86 days of 100 today and he is going to have a hard time recognizing his wife!!! 22 days to go girl!

Some people would have made the exact opposite choice, but instead Jenny decided to better herself and change her life by focusing on the positive and finding an outlet for her stress!

I am very honored and thankful to have been a part of this transformation. Jenny ALL your hard work has paid off and this is only the beginning. You are a huge inspiration to the people around you and your strength and perseverance through tough times tells so much about the person you are!

Congratulations Jenny S on being November’s Client Of The Month!!!

Congratulations Natalie R. For Being

Client Of The Month!

Natalie is a one in a million person. When we all take about what it takes to change your life and being in the right frame of mind, she embodies every bit of it! Even when she smashed her finger between two dumbells and broke it, she just put on a brace and never missed a beat!

I can always bet on a Natalie giving me a smile regardless of how hard the workout is or what is going on in her life away from the gym.  She has lost a TREMENDOUS amount and is well over 4 sizes down.  She has been a real inspiration to the people around her and especially to the Special Needs kids that she works with everyday. She actually helps them workout and sometimes even does a Mini-Bootcamp for them!!!

Natalie is one of the hardest working people at Edmond Bootcamp and I have no doubt that she will she every bit of her goals realized very soon! Congratulations Natalie on being my Client Of The Month for October 2010!!

P.S. Make sure to leave a comment for Natalie in the box below!!!!

OK, I get it. No one is perfect and we all slip up from time to time.

But I am going to be real honest, that is an excuse! It’s a choice we all make!

We all make decisions everyday that either help or hurt or fitness.

You see, there is no maintenance level. You are either getting better or getting worse. Which one are you right now?

T-Minus 12 weeks until New Years!!!

WWRD – What Would Ryan Do? Cute right! Farley wants me to get bracelets made for all of you guys! Maybe it would help! Next time you order your food ask yourself “What Would Ryan Do”

What would you do if I walked up behind you and drug you out of that restruant to go do lunges in the parking lot every time you ate bad?

In all seriousness though, It is my job to make sure that you get where you want to be, but realize that you are in the gym only an hour a day. That’s 23 other hours a day you have to make or break your fitness.

In fact most people spend 3.5 hours per day eating. Se how this doesn’t even out????

In 12 weeks we will all be a part of the New Years fad of starting over and making those resolutions. Think about how awesome it would be to be in the best shape of your life going into next year. What could you accomplish if “getting into shape” was not one of your milestones.

A lot of people are well on their way but there a lot of people who need a swift kick to get going. I will now offer this service for free!

Let’s get serious about YOU right now! No more Facebook bragging cheat meals, no more missing workouts, no more emailing me bad food journals. You have to make the decision to be a better you, I cannot do it for you, but I will do everything I can to help you avoid the pitfalls along the way!

Remember WWRD, and act accordingly!
